Class Dissertation

Upon successful completion of the Dissertation course, students will be able to: a) Identify and formulate a relevant research problem within the field of Civil Protection, supported by a critical review of the scientific literature. b) Define research objectives, questions, and/or hypotheses, selecting appropriate research methodologies. c) Collect, analyse, and interpret data using rigorous scientific methods and appropriate analytical tools. d) Conduct original research that contributes to the advancement of knowledge in the field of Civil Protection. e) Prepare a dissertation in accordance with academic, scientific, and ethical standards, demonstrating critical thinking, analytical skills, and scientific writing competence. f) Present and defend the dissertation effectively, demonstrating the ability to communicate research findings and engage in critical scientific discussion.
