Presentation
The course unit Inclusion, Mediation and Differentiation in Educational Contexts addresses key cross-cutting issues in Education Sciences that are particularly relevant in view of the diversity characterising contemporary educational contexts. Its scope encompasses analysis and intervention in educational settings in the areas of inclusion, mediation and differentiation, with particular attention to the practices, relationships and organisational dynamics that shape the conditions for participation and learning. Its inclusion in the Master's degree in Education Sciences is justified by the cross-cutting relevance of these issues across different fields of educational research and intervention. The course unit contributes to advanced education and training grounded in critical analysis and evidence-informed intervention, with a focus on equity, participation, the valuing of diversity and educational improvement.

Teaching methodologies
The course unit adopts a theory-practice approach, combining the systematic development of knowledge with active and participatory teaching methods. Emphasis is placed on the analysis of scientific literature, case studies, problem-solving, debate and collaborative work, fostering the application of theoretical frameworks to the analysis of complex educational situations. Innovative approaches to supporting learning include the analysis of authentic situations, the collaborative design of differentiation strategies and mediation projects, peer discussion and formative feedback, fostering critical reflection, evidence-informed decision-making and the integration of knowledge and intervention. Tutorial support promotes the progressive development of autonomous learning. Moodle is used to provide resources, organise activities and support learning.
