The Curriculum Unit (UC) Dissertation is part of the 2nd Cycle in Exercise and Health, in ¿¿sport. The UC Dissertation allows the student to: - Apply the knowledge and skills acquired during the 1st year of the Study Cycle. - Develop work autonomously. - Reflect critically on a specific area within the scope of the Study Cycle.

The completion of the UC Dissertation focuses on the final work developed by the student under the supervision of the supervisor and, if applicable, the co-supervisor. The syllabus depends on the objectives established in the Dissertation.

Objectives
Objectives
The learning objectives (LO) of this course are: LO1. To acquire observation and identification skills regarding specificities of the contexts and the roles in which physical exercise and health activities are developed LO2. To apply the knowledge and ability to understand and solve problems related to their field of study, in wide multidisciplinary situations LO3. To develop evaluation skills and the integration of information for the planning of training adjusted to the identified problems and/or objectives LO4. Promote the capacity for critical analysis LO5. To develop skills to carry out literature review, definition of objectives, selecting and applying the most appropriate research methodologies, reflection and interpretation of results, writing a scientific work LO6. To develop autonomy in carrying out its work LO7. To develop a scientific research work

Teaching methodologies and assessment
Teaching methodologies and assessment
Different teaching methodologies (ME) will be used: Experimentation and practical exercise (ME1); Development of specific technological skills (ME2), Discussion of scientific articles (ME3), Small group activities (ME4), Feedback information provided by the teacher about the work carried out (ME5).
