The UC Internship is part of the 2nd Cycle in Exercise and Health, in the area of sport. This UC allows the student to apply theoretical, theoretical-practical knowledge and other skills acquired during the 1st year of this Study Cycle in practical contexts. Additionally, this UC allows the student to develop work autonomously and critically in a specific area of the Study Cycle.

Syllabus
Carrying out the UC Internship presupposes the development of a Practical Internship and a final work (Internship Report) developed by the student supervised by the supervisor, co-supervisor (if applicable) and the Supervisor at the Host Institution. The program contents include assessment, prescription, application and control of physical exercise in contexts of physical exercise and health and critical reflection on the work developed.

Objectives
LO1. Promote observation skills and identification of the specificities of the contexts and roles in which physical exercise and health activities take place LO2. Apply knowledge and the ability to understand and solve problems related to the specific area of study, in broad and multidisciplinary contexts LO3. Develop assessment and information integration skills for training planning adjusted to the identified problem and/or objectives LO4. Promote critical analysis skills LO5. Develop skills in carrying out a literature review, defining objectives, selecting and applying the most appropriate research methodologies, reflecting and interpreting results, writing a scientific work LO6. Develop autonomy in carrying out your work LO7. Develop a scientific research work or a professional internship report

Teaching methodologies and assessment
Different teaching methodologies (ME) will be used: Experimentation and practical exercise (ME1), Pedagogical practices in a real context of planning, organization and intervention within the scope of physical exercise in health (ME2), Resolution of real cases (ME3), Discussion of practical cases with the supervisor (ME4), Feedback information provided by the supervisor and internship supervisor about the work carried out (ME5).
