Masters Financial Management

The aim of the course is to train highly qualified professionals for professional activity, providing solid scientific and technical training in areas such as Finance and Management, Taxation and Information Systems, thus enabling them to enter the job market. It also aims to meet the training and updating needs of managers and technicians who are already in the job market, reinforcing and updating their skills. The distance learning pedagogical model adopted is based on 4 key principles: flexibility, autonomy, resource-based learning and interaction and collaboration.

Candidates can apply for this cycle of studies leading to a master's degree, preferably with a background in the following areas Management and Administration, Economic Sciences, Law, or related areas and who are: a) Holders of a bachelor's degree or legal equivalent; b) Holders of a 1st cycle of higher education studies in another country that has signed the Bologna Process; c) Holders of a higher academic degree obtained in another country, provided that it is recognized as being in conformity with the objectives of the degree, approved by the competent scientific body of Universidade Lusófona; d) Holders of an academic, scientific or professional curriculum, in which the candidate can attest to the ability to carry out this cycle of studies, and being recognized by the competent scientific body of Universidade Lusófona. Selection criteria: Years of professional experience; Degree obtained; Current area of work in Management or similar; Interview.

Candidates for the Master's degree are graduates in Management and Administration, Economics, Accounting and holders of other degrees who work in the financial area or who recognize that they have the knowledge to complete this 2nd cycle.

Senior and middle management in private and public organizations. Certified accountants. Pursuing doctoral studies.
