Objectives
The aim is to provide students with the skills of understanding and legal analysis on the issue of reconciling intellectual property law with the most recent technological developments, in order to adopt fairer decisions from a legal point of view in the globalized technological world. the actors and legal instruments in this field are critically analyzed, in particular the aspects of intellectual property rights related to the use of artificial intelligence in inventive and artistic processes.

Assessment
A avaliação contínua deverá ser realizada através de dois elementos: um trabalho escrito e a sua apresentação oral em aula, valendo 50% cada um dos elementos.
A avaliação em época de recurso ou época especial será feita através da realização de um exame escrito pelo mestrando, no qual o mesmo deverá obter a classificação mínima de 9,5 valores.

Os alunos que não possam comparecer às aulas, em virtude de motivos de força maior, deverão apresentar, adicionalmente aos demais elementos da avaliação contínua,, um relatório mensal acerca das matérias lecionadas . Esse relatório visa compensar a ausência de participação adequada em aula, reforçar os conhecimentos em matérias essenciais da Unidade Curricular, e visa ainda, estimular o pensamento juridico crítico dos mestrandos.
