Presentation
Presentation
Change management and innovation support organisations in responding to evolving markets, digital transformation and new competitive demands. Innovation involves new or significantly improved solutions, processes and business models, while change management supports the preparation, implementation and sustainment of the transformations required for their adoption. Both domains require organisational capabilities, leadership, communication, employee involvement and a focus on value creation. The curricular unit emphasises the application of concepts, models and tools through case analysis and the critical reading of relevant scientific literature, preferably indexed in Web of Science and/or Scopus, promoting current and evidence-informed knowledge.

Teaching methodologies
An active, student-centred approach is adopted, combining interactive lecturing, case analysis, critical reading and discussion of scientific literature, and Problem/Project-Based Learning. Activities include applied exercises in innovation and change management, collaborative work, guided research and the development of a project based on a real or simulated organisational context. Formative feedback and critical reflection support the different stages, promoting autonomy, knowledge integration and practical application.
