Presentation
This curricular unit consists of teaching contents related to the teaching of methods and specific procedures related to clinical experimental research. In this unit students have access to the most relevant contents for a consistent training in the area of scientific methodologies for clinical research. On the other hand, the unit is eminently practical, where we try to involve students in ongoing projects at the research centre HEI-Lab.

Objectives
Objectives
LO1: To recognize experimental research methods and designs in their articulation with cognitive and emotional processes associated with psychopathology LO2: To deepen the ethical issues of experimental research with clinical populations LO3: To apply the main experimental paradigms used in the study of processes underlying psychopathology, including modified paradigms within the transdiagnostic approaches. LO4: To examine the use of emerging technologies in clinical experimental research. LO5: To implement research techniques to assess information processing of clinically LO6: To analyze the process underpinning the implementation of clinical trials.

Teaching methodologies and assessment
Teaching methodologies and assessment
The teaching methodologies will contemplate the expository method, and especially the articulation with the practice in experimental and laboratory context. Students will be involved in the lines of experimental research underway at the HEI-Lab research center, developing and applying clinical experimental research skills under the supervision of researchers in the field. Students will have the opportunity to manipulate different laboratory signal processing and digital platform development resources for research.
