Resume

Inês Vieira is a post-doctoral integrated researcher at CeiED - Interdisciplinary Research Centre for Education and Development, assistant professor at Lusófona University, and collaborator at CICS.NOVA, FCSH. Active in the fields of Social Sciences, Education, Ecology and Territory. She has a PhD (Doctor Europæus, NOVA FCSH and Università di Bologna) and a MSc (NOVA FCSH) in Human Ecology, and a BSE in Childhood Education (ESE/P.Porto). Activities developed include research and science management grants in European and national projects on issues related to mobilities/migrations, territory, education, youth and public policies. Among the projects in which she participated, she was the executive coordinator and manager of the Portuguese team at the European project 'ALLMEET - Actions of Lifelong Learning addressing Multicultural Education and Tolerance in Russia' (Tempus, EU, 2013-2017), and presently she represents the scientific team at the projects 'Roda Viva' (BIP/ZIP, Lisbon Municipality, 2021-2024) and 'Pedalada' (BipZip, Lisbon Municipality, 2020-2023) and is the PI at the project 'CRIPECO - Critical pedagogy for ecological justice' (COFAC/CeiED, 2021-2024). Current research interests include education and global citizenship, popular education, ecology, mobilities, migrations and social diversity, and participatory research in the interface of science, arts and education. She is co-coordinator of ESA RN27 - Research Network on Southern European Societies of the European Sociological Association (since 2019) and permanent team member of Op.Edu - Observatory for Education and Training Policies. / / Inês Vieira é investigadora pós-doc integrada no CeiED - Centro de Estudos Interdisciplinares em Educação e Desenvolvimento, professora auxiliar na Universidade Lusófona, e investigadora colaboradora no CICS.NOVA, FCSH. Actua nas áreas de Ciências Sociais, Educação, Ecologia e Território. É doutorada (Doctor Europæus, NOVA FCSH e Università di Bologna) e mestre em Ecologia Humana e licenciada em Educação de Infância (ESE/P.Porto). Tem desempenhado funções de investigação e gestão de ciência em projectos nacionais e europeus relacionados com mobilidade/migrações, território, educação, juventude e políticas públicas. Entre os projectos em que participou destaca-se o projecto europeu 'ALLMEET - Actions of Lifelong Learning addressing Multicultural Education and Tolerance in Russia' (Tempus, EACEA, 2013-2017), onde foi coordenadora executiva e gestora da equipa portuguesa, e, actualmente, os projectos 'Roda Viva' (BIP/ZIP, CML, 2021-2024) e 'Pedalada' (BIP/ZIP, CML, 2020-2023), onde representa as equipas científicas, e o projecto 'CRIPECO - Critical pedagogy for ecological justice' (COFAC/CeiED, 2021-2024), do qual é IR. Os seus actuais interesses de investigação incluem educação e cidadania global, educação popular, ecologia, mobilidades, migrações e diversidade social e pesquisa participativa na interface de ciência, artes e educação. É co-coordenadora da rede ESA RN27 - Regional Network on Southern European Societies of the European Sociological Association (desde 2019) e membro da equipa permanente do Op.Edu - Observatório das Políticas de Educação e Formação.
