Resume
Maria Bhudarally is a young Health Sciences and Physical Education and Sports graduate, and completed a master degree in Exercise and Wellness in 2022 in Universidade Lusófona, Lisboa. She is an Assistant Professor in Universidade Lusófona, Lisboa, and works as a swimming teacher and private mathematics teacher. Her academic and scientific research work started in 2020 in the areas of biomechanics and sports biomechanics and she was published in peer-reviewed scientific journals. Now, Maria is dedicated to her PhD which involves the study of the effects of an exercise program in the efficiency and efficacy of cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Apart from her academic studies, Maria also took short courses on Basic Life Support, Introduction to Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis, Scientific Research Writing, Nutrition and Supplementation in Sports, Exercise Physiology and Aquatic Exercise and Posture. She was also acknowledged as a student of excelence and was honoured with three scholarships. In 2022 and 2023, Maria presented one of her publications and her PhD project in conferences and continued her passion for volunteer work teaching in India. When she was a student in Health Sciences she was also part of its student organization and promoted and organized many academic events.
