Presentation
This course aims to introduce students to the main Contemporary Development Challenges, relating them to the Sustainable Development Goals with examples applied by different business segments (private companies, governments, and social organizations). Classes will be held in a seminar format, intended to encourage reflection on the activities and how companies and organizations have made decisions to minimize the negative impacts arising from their activities.
It also aims to foster critical reflection, the capacity for cooperation, respect for others, and a sense of responsibility in managing ethical and responsible businesses. Furthermore, the seminar format, with guests from different fields, provides an opportunity to perceive the connection between theoretical content and its practical application in the job market for business management.
