his transversal curricular unit introduces conceptual bases and analyzes the comprehensiveness and importance of emotional intelligence and Self-Regulation, leading students to explore their different competencies and the impacts of their practical application, both in professional and management contexts, as in personal life. In addition to this, the understanding of the impact of EI on the level of emotions in organizations is promoted, both at the level of teams and at the macro level of policies and practices that may have an impact on each individual.

Objectives
- Identify emotional intelligence role as understanding and adaptation to reality, both in personal context as an operational tool to effectively manage problems in social and work contexts.
- Recognizing emotional literacy importance and identifying and characterizing different emotional intelligence competencies.
- Develop a positive attitude in decision making, exploring emotional skills application in personal and professional life.
- Understand control emotions instruments importance, solving problems of crisis, conflicts and changes in people management context.
- Understand the role of emotions in organizations, both in terms of teams and in terms of human resource management practices and policies.
