  • Presentation

    Presentation

The Production Workshop for Platforms I - Entertainment course consists of a curricular project that cuts across the complementary units of Set Design, Visual Effects, Introduction to Design, Sound Design Laboratory, Sound Recording, and Virtual Production, which aims to explore the Entertainment genre, integrating the multiple forms and components of a Broadcast program, with a multi-camera setup, recorded or "Live". Students integrated into multidisciplinary teams from various areas explore the creative, technical, and operational capabilities of a TV Studio project, designing, as a final project, an Entertainment program (Talk Show) with live broadcast transmission to a broadcasting/distribution platform and simultaneously recorded in LIVE-ON-TAPE mode. They will also explore creative, operational, and innovative capabilities within a virtual production framework.

    Teaching methodologies

Innovative broadcast production models, such as the creative use of AI tools in set design, lighting design, sound design, etc., and the exploration of the creative, operational, and innovative capabilities of Virtual Production techniques, necessarily require new methodologies to support these processes, not only in academia but also in the professional market. Specific support sheets have been created to support the practical work of each specific task, for the most complex operations of these challenges, and are collected in the APP Production Notebook - Entertainment, which contains 115 Key Questions to help students define an original TV program concept.
