    The International Economics course covers essential and advanced concepts related to the functioning of the global economic system and its interfaces with the international system and political conditions. Learning Objectives: Understand the fundamentals of International Economics and the main associated concepts. Comprehend trade policies and their implications for countries and economic blocs. Analyze practical cases to identify important determinants of the international economic system. Evaluate different economic models and their applications in the international context. Apply theoretical knowledge to practical situations and specific cases in international economics. Analyze internationalization processes with a focus on the public-private environment.

    Teaching methodologies

    This course includes the development of an individual portfolio over the period, based on activities focused on the "learning by doing" system. Active teaching methodologies are applied throughout the content, so that theoretical debates reinforce peer and mediated feedback, simulations fill a transition gap between theory and practice, and group experiments guarantee skills relevant to the job market.

    A avaliacao e feita a partir de um Portfolio desenvolvido ao longo do curso e entregue ao final da semana 14 , via Plataforma Moodle, segundo a seguinte estrutura:

    1. Ensaio teórico (Versão final) que relacione os textos referentes às semanas 1, 4, 7, 10, 13. Inclusão de rascunhos solicitados ao longo e evidências presentes no moodle. 30%
    2. Lista de atividades realizadas em sala com evidencias de sua participacao (prints do moodle, fotos da atividade, prints dos resultados, etc.) + análise de skills desenvolvidos, desafios, como superou barreiras tecnicamente. 30%
    3. Timeline com todas as contrinuições individuais para o trabalho em grupo (semanas 3, 6, 9, 12). Relato de participacao individual no trabalho + Resultado final do trabalho. 30%
    4. Autoavaliacao do aluno - sobre a sua partiicpação, incluindo a frequência nas aulas, sua performance, suas dificuldades e desafios, seu desenvolvimento, os skills desenvolvidos, os atributos positivos e a desenvolver. 10%
