Objectives
Understanding and identification of the concepts involved in the structural and functional organization of the animal cell. Identify, differentiate, and relate life components, namely at the water level and biomolecules and their components (carbohydrates, lipids, proteins, and nucleic acids, as well as their enzymatic and hormonal components). Integration of the contents for the development of energetic obtaining at the corporal level, more specifically at the muscular level, regarding the aerobic and anaerobic metabolism Interpretation and choice of the possible metabolic pathways associated with each type of metabolism (aerobic and anaerobic) applied in sports, dominating both the catabolic pathways and the anabolic pathways of energy metabolism. Transmission and application of theoretical concepts to practical realities (transfer of knowledge to UCs of physiology and Nutrition)

Requirements: Continuous assessment comprises 3 assessment moments: 1- 2 mini tests with reflection questions ? 40% 2- Frequency encompassing the entire subject ? 40% 3- Work Presentation-20% Continuous assessment: weighted average equal to or greater than 9.5 values; minimum grade in assessment moments 9.5 values, possibility of recovery to 9.5 values ¿¿in moments with a grade lower than 9.5 values ¿¿and weighted average of 9.5 values. In the case of assessment moments in class, with the exception of formal assessment tests, there may be the possibility of an average, of several moments, of 9.5 points (for example class questions; class sheets; small assessment tasks; . ..) Absence in any of the evaluation moments must be officially justified, via the virtual secretary and email sent to the UC professors, within five working days after the occurrence (RECTORAL ORDER Nº 24/2023).
