  • Objectives

    Objectives

This seminar aims to support students in deepening their knowledge in the field of cognitive linguistics and linguistic pragmatics, based on theoretical and analytical frameworks that allow them to adopt a reflective attitude, as well as providing practical conditions that allow them to choose a socially relevant and current research topic for the Final Project of the course and to carry out research in the area. In a school context that currently includes a growing component of linguistic diversity among students in the Portuguese school system, the debate surrounding the issues of learning the vehicular language by students who do not have LP as their mother tongue and the inclusion strategies for the success of these students within a framework of language policy and management of which teachers must be agents and promoters is considered relevant.
