  • Objectives

    Objectives

    - Place Social Work in the field of Social Sciences and social intervention;

    - Understand and know how to reflect on the nature and meaning of Social Work as a profession;

    - Understand and know how to establish relationships between Social Work and Society, especially in response to social problems and transformations;

    - To know the main theoretical approaches in Social Work;

    - To know the different stages of the intervention methodology and knowing how to establish the interconnections between them;

    - To know (understand and apply) the main models and instruments of diagnostic evaluation and social intervention;

    - Develop critical thinking about current social problems and the challenges they pose to social intervention.

  • Teaching methodologies and assessment

    Teaching methodologies and assessment

    The UC is intended to be a space for reflection and co-construction of knowledge about professional practice. To this end, students will be given various tasks to research and systematize knowledge (particularly in terms of intervention models and techniques), which they will have to share with their colleagues in session.
