Objectives
Understand the epistemological paradigms of research in HRM. Develop skills to formulate research questions and design studies. Apply quantitative and qualitative methods, including data analysis using software. Critically evaluate studies and integrate mixed-methods approaches.

Teaching methodologies
A UC adota metodologias ativas, como discussão de estudos de caso, uso de software estatístico (Jamovi), e elaboração de projetos de investigação. Estas estratégias promovem a aprendizagem aplicada, a autonomia e o pensamento crítico, centrando-se em problemas reais de GRH.

Assessment
Um teste final compreensivo no final do módulo “Quantitativo” e um projeto de artigo no final do módulo "Qualitativa/mista" a valerem 50% cada um da nota final. O/a aluno/a deverá obter pelo menos 8.5 valores numa escala de 0 a 20 em cada módulo. A média final deverá ser superior ou igual a 9.5 valores.
A época de recurso será apenas para a(s) componente(s) a que o aluno reprovou, usando a mesmas ponderações da avaliação continua.A comprehensive final test at the end of the "Quantitative" module and an article project at the end of the "Qualitative/mixed" module, each worth 50% of the final grade. The student must obtain at least 8.5 points on a scale of 0 to 20 in each module. The final average must be greater than or equal to 9.5 points.
The retake period will be only for the component(s) that the student failed, using the same weightings as the continuous assessment.
