Presentation
The activity of psychological assessment in a forensic context is exclusive to psychologists and constitutes an essential dimension, both for outlining interventions and for substantiating opinions necessary for judicial decisions. Psychological assessment in a forensic context (children and adolescents) is required in different judicial areas (e.g., child promotion and protection proceedings, educational guardianship, regulation of parental responsibilities, criminal) and requires specialized technical and scientific skills and knowledge. The assessment process, which stems from the planning and suitability of techniques and methods to the specific characteristics of the examinee and the objectives of the assessment, requires strict compliance with ethical and deontological principles.

Teaching methodologies and assessment
The teaching methodology is predominantly active, with a focus on discussing real-life cases, integrating theoretical and conceptual components with practical applications in psychological assessment. Assessment can be either continuous or non-continuous. The continuous assessment includes one written exam (60%) and a practical assignment (40%) completed in small groups (group written report: 30%; individual oral presentation: 10%). The non-continuous assessment consists of a final written exam covering all theoretical and practical content (100%).
