Class Labor Relations and Digital Society

To provide the acquisition of knowledge about work relations in the digital era, framed in its European and national context, in order to perspective its evolution of the digital transition at work. Assess the impact of these mutations on Labour Law. These objectives will enable the development of skills on technological changes at work, the expansion of telework, privacy at work and the regulation of time and place of work.

1. Challenges of Labor Law in the XXI century: 1.1. The historical evolution of Labour Law and the Labour Law of the XXI century;1.2 The requalification of the employment contract? The question of the juridical subordination; 1.3 Regulation of the time and place of work.  2. The privacy of the worker and digital technologies; 3. The protection of personal data; 4. Teleworking: several dimensions; 5. The work 4.0 and in digital platforms; 6. AI.

Theoretical teaching based on presentation and discussion of the issues referred in the Syllabus. Practical teaching- Knowledge acquired application through the solving of exercises and/or actual problems; presentation and discussion of practical papers.
