Class Seminar II/ Seminar Analysis, Management and Evaluation of Investment and Innovation Projects

This course has two main aims. The first is based on the study of European public policies and support for their implementation, often supported by investment programmes and projects. Attention will also be paid to international and European financial institutions and the legal instruments that regulate and implement them. The second objective focuses on identifying business opportunities and national, European and international financial support, as well as knowledge of the techniques used to design, analyse, finance and manage innovation and investment projects.

This seminar uses an active methodology, one of the most innovative approaches to the teaching-learning process, which emphasises the active involvement of students. Students have permanent access to information, course content, academic research, articles, the regularly updated course blog, theses on the topics under discussion (available online) and similar research projects. This transforms the professor into a mediator and tutor who helps students to turn information into knowledge. For this methodology to work, the learning objectives and assessment model must be defined from the outset and communicated to the students in advance to allow them to prepare. During every class, students are encouraged to participate in debates and express their opinions, thereby developing their critical thinking skills.
