Any organization must offer all the necessary safety measures for its employees so that they can perform their duties without any harm to their health. Promoting proactive care is a necessity. With this in mind, the concept of hygiene factors was created to ensure occupational health and safety, aiming to provide a safer environment for workers in various aspects. Occupational safety is a term basically related to accident prevention. Occupational hygiene, on the other hand, is related not only to the personal hygiene of employees, such as washing hands thoroughly, keeping the workplace clean, etc., but also to occupational diseases, i.e., the prevention of environmental risks that can lead to occupational illnesses.
