    The Postgraduate Diploma (Advanced Specialisation) in IR-IIEBF/International Relations - Investment and Corporate, Banking and Financial Internationalisation, as an innovative course on the international scene, given the globalisation of international trade, communication, the financial market and transport, responds to the demands raised by the evolution of the processes of economic integration and international cooperation, as well as the surrounding constraints, both political and legal, and economic, financial, social and cultural, in the context of the growing complexity of International Relations. The desire and need of many graduates and technicians to deepen their scientific and technical knowledge in the fields of economic integration, international trade, financial markets, the formation and behaviour of economic blocs, the structure and management of national and multinational companies, appropriate investment strategies, internationalisation, as well as international cooperation, in the context of the globalised world system of powers, has thus been met.     Anyone in one of the following situations may apply to attend the course: Hold an academic degree (bachelor's and/or master's) or legal equivalent; Have professional experience and a curriculum vitae that attest to their ability to attend a postgraduate course, recognised by the Course's Scientific Committee; Perform high-level functions in organisations (national, public, private and international) or companies directly or indirectly linked to the scientific areas in question, as confirmed by the Scientific Committee.

    What master's or postgraduate degrees can I pursue afterward?

    The Postgraduate Course (Advanced Specialisation) creates the conditions for students to continue their training in these or similar scientific areas, namely to continue their 2nd Cycle studies leading to a Master's degree. Students who successfully complete this Post-Graduation (Advanced Specialisation), after their Curriculum Vitae has been assessed, will be able to access Master's degrees in accordance with the legislation in force.

    Observations

    Planned timetable: Post-Labour Students of this PG will have privileged access to the activities of CEERI-Centre for European Studies and International Relations, OLAE-Observatório Lusófono de Atividades Económicas and CPLP-Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries, given that the Lusófona Group is a Consultative Observer of the CPLP. This PG supports the implementation of the UBSIF-CPLP/Union of Insurance Banks and Financial Institutions of the CPLP.
