The workshop will be led by Professor Mark Stoutenberg on implementation science applied to exercise and its connection to healthcare institutions, covering the following topics:
- How to communicate effectively with healthcare services;
- Examples of common challenges/failures in the implementation of physical activity programmes;
- Examples of successful initiatives;
- Common barriers (and how to overcome them) and facilitators (and how to promote them);
- Strategies for scaling and sustainability;
- Insights from his own experience.
