Introduction
The School of Communication, Architecture, Arts and Information Technologies (ECATI) is recognised as an innovative university project within the Portuguese and European higher education landscape. Organised according to the principles of the Bologna Process, it offers undergraduate, master's and doctoral programmes, awarding recognised qualifications in both established and emerging fields.
A pioneer in Portugal, ECATI brings together within the same scientific and educational environment studies in Communication and Humanities, Architecture, Urban Planning, Arts and Design, Multimedia, Film and Video, as well as Computer Engineering and Information Systems.
Its integrated and rigorous educational strategy promotes the connection between technology, creativity and critical thinking, preparing students to respond to the challenges of the information and knowledge society while fostering unique synergies within the national context.
