Objectives
Objectives
This course aims to deliver to the students fundamental knowledge to be applied in the conservation of biological diversity, including species and habitat management, conservation policies and tools, causes of habitat destruction and degradation, in situ and ex situ conservation. The importance of active management in the Mediterranean context, where there is a millennia-old interaction between humans and nature, will be emphasized.
