Syllabus
Brief historical analysis and context of generics in the cinema and audiovisual tradition. Analysis of reference projects/works by various design, motion and animation authors. Notions of graphic design applied to motion design. Practical component in Adobe After Effects applied to animation and motion graphics. Animation in 2D planes and 3D space, using tracking processes. Animation: Application of 6 of the 12 animation principles applied to motion graphics (Squash and Stretch, Slow in Slow out, Arcs, Exaggeration, and Pose to Pose). Analysis of portfolio material to build the showreel.

Objectives
Provide students with: Technical, aesthetic and conceptual knowledge and strategies that make them capable of creating innovative animation and graphic composition projects. Realisation of 2 projects to be developed as a group and individually: Infographic Video: Creation of an infographic video based on the proposed theme. Showreel: Construction of a short video presenting the best moments of the authors' personal work.
