Presentation
The Curricular Unit Option I: Advanced Training in Exercise and Health aims, in essence, to deepen various knowledge and skills acquired throughout the study cycle, based on theoretical and practical contents developed, in order to create an encompassing view of the functions of greater complexity and / or demand by the exercise physiologist.
The UC is based on the recommendations of the main national and international entities, seeking a professional practice based on scientific evidence.
The integration and articulation of contents of the various disciplines will be the main focus of the approach to the defined contents, ensuring that the student, as a final product to be obtained in this CU, is able to adequately articulate the wide range of knowledge acquired during their formation, ensuring a transition to the labor market with a high proficiency in assessment, supervision and exercise prescription tools.

Objectives
Objectives
- Supplement the ability to articulate knowledge and skills acquired throughout the study cycle in order to promote professional intervention tailored to the individual needs of clients, and sustained in best national and international practices and recommendations.
- Enhance the ability to plan and prescribe exercise using different technical and pedagogical tools adjusted to the individuality and context of practice.
- Develop the ability to identify with the goals and aspirations of practitioners, aiming at creating a positive relationship, supporting individualized interventions that can act as facilitators of continued adherence to the exercise.
