Presentation
Presentation
Futsal is a collaborative team game in which players are required to adapt to change within a dynamic environment. An environment in which they have a restricted amount of time and space in which to make decisions and perform actions that provide solutions for their team. Futsal implies a high level of motor involvement and intense practice, with tactical aspects (in terms of perception and decision making) being crucial to the effectiveness of each element of the game. The knowledge, skills and aptitudes in this area enrich the basis for intervention by the Sports Coaching professional, specifically in terms of understanding training and leading groups.

Assessment
Assessment
Theoretical-practical classes and practical classes/field work will be taught. The b-learning system will be used (moodle) with support for the provision of teaching material and discussion forum. In the continuous evaluation the students will have to accomplish one frequency and one practical evaluation per semester. The final classification is obtained by:
0.3*Frequency+0.5*Practical assessment+0.2*Discussions.
- Continuous assessment: weighted average of 9.5 or more; minimum mark in assessment periods of 9.5, possibility of recovery to 9.5 in periods with a mark of less than 9.5 and a weighted average of 9.5. In the case of in-class assessment moments, with the exception of formal assessment tests, there may be the possibility of an average of 9.5 points for several moments (e.g. class questions; class worksheets; small assessment tasks; etc).
- Continuous assessment in practical courses: a minimum mark of 9.5 or more in the practical component
- Exam assessment: minimum mark of 9.5 for access to the compulsory oral exam.
The evaluation of the UC includes two individual written tests, with a duration of 2 hours each, on 2025/11/26 and 2026/04/29 and worth 30% of the final classification. The supplementary test, if necessary to be applied, will take place on 2025/12/10 and 2026/05/13.
Individual practical assessment component. The evaluation of the UC includes two individual practical assessments with a 10-minute presentation and 5m of discussion. The individual assessment has a weighting of 50%. The presentation has a weighting of 35% of the grade and the discussion 15%. This will take place on 2025/12/03 and 2026/05/06.
