Teaching methodologies and assessment
Teaching methodologies and assessment
Active and innovative methodologies will be used in the course unit, with theoretical-practical classes that promote student participation and critical engagement with the topics. Practices such as debates, thematic panels, and simulated debates are incorporated to stimulate the development of argumentation, oral expression, and critical thinking. Assessment requires a minimum attendance of 75% and includes: Written test (individual assessment): 60%, to evaluate theoretical knowledge. Participation in the simulated debate: 30%, focused on argumentation and collaboration. Post-debate individual reflection: 20%, assessing the depth of critical analysis. A weighted average below 10 (on a 0–20 scale) across these three components requires the student to take a resit exam.
