The Curricular Unit of Internship in Clinical and Health Psychology aims to provide students with tools that allow them to aplly, in a practical context, the knowledge acquired in the CUs taught during the first year of the Master. It provides students with permanent follow-up during the course of their academic internships, developing in the classroom context activities ranging from the formulation of cases to the proposal and implementation of interventions, within the scope of Clinical and Health Psychology, considering the characteristics of the trainee's host institutions and their population.

Objectives
Objectives
The Course Unit aims to offer an institutional experience in Clinical and Health Psychology, in order to carry out a supervised practice that is in accordance with the knowledge acquired in other curricular units. It also aims to provide students with training in the diagnosis, evaluation, implementation of treatment and prevention programs, and evaluation of the results. It also aims to teach integration in multidisciplinary teams. The conceptualization, development, and accomplishment of an internship project in an institution, supervised in seminar classes, allows the student to obtain the integration and application of the acquired knowledge, being able, in this way, to establish competencies that will lead to an effective intervention in the organizations where he comes to work.

Teaching methodologies
Teaching methodologies
Classes are essentially practical and interactive, based on discussion of the activities carried out during the internship. Student participation in classes is promoted through active and interrogative teaching methodologies that also promote dialogue and debate between students. As the aim is for students to have a critical and reflective vision, the presentation and discussion of clinical cases is encouraged. Simulated practice is used to train skills through role-play sessions. The hybrid methodology is present with the promotion of research tasks for the presentation of work in class, which are activities in which technology is used to acquire knowledge. In addition, tutoring activities are planned for the completion of the final internship report.
