Objectives
Objectives
LO1: To define an original research theme or research question in Clinical and Health Psychology. LO2: To conduct bibliographic research on the selected topic. LO3: To carry out a critical reading of scientific texts related to the selected topic and proceed to its synthesis and integration. LO4: To design an oriented and coherent research project about research questions and/or advanced hypotheses, scientifically grounded and ethically justifiable.

Teaching methodologies
Teaching methodologies
In this curricular unit students join one of the ongoing research lines ongoing in the Master’s in Clinical and Health Psychology. Students should attend research meetings, where they will have the opportunity to contact their research teams and projects; train transversal and specific research competences; and develop a research project in close articulation with the teamwork. Teaching methodologies include applied training (TM1), autofeedback (TM2), peer feedback (TM3) and lecturer feedback (TM4), bibliographic search (TM5). Thus, evaluation of this UC includes: Participation in team meetings (20%); Written proposal of the research project (60%); seminar task (20%).

Assessment
Assessment
A UC prevê 15 horas de seminário e 15 horas de orientação tutorial aos estudantes. O corpo docente da UC é constituído pelo docente responsável – que coordena os seminários – e os docentes que orientam os projetos de dissertação no âmbito dos seus grupos de investigação. A orientação tutorial ocorre no grupo de investigação do docente orientador. A assiduidade é obrigatória no seminário e na orientação tutorial, pelo que é feito o registo das presenças.
A avaliação integra três elementos:
(1) Projeto de dissertação, com uma ponderação de 40% (MA1) - O documento escrito será avaliado por um docente avaliador externo, indicado pela direção de curso.
(2) Trabalho de orientação, com uma ponderação de 30% (MA2) - Classificação atribuída pelo docente orientador
(3) tarefa de seminário/ o Pitch do projeto, com uma ponderação de 30% (MA3) - Classificação atribuída pelo docente responsável pelo seminário.
Estão estabelecidos critérios operacionalizados de avaliação para cada um destes elementos, publicado no moodle.
Os estudantes que não obtenham aprovação na avaliação contínua poderão ir a avaliação final na época de recurso, implicando a entrega de um novo projeto de investigação (ponderação de 100%).
