Open Courses Introduction to Public Law

This course has been designed specifically for non-lawyers who wish to learn the basics of public law. In particular, attendance at this course is compulsory for non-law graduates applying for the Master¿s in Public Law The syllabus has been structured to give students a general and unitary overview of that area of law so that they are better prepared for the study of Public Law subjects. Classes will preferably be held in person and the content taught will follow a theoretical-practical method.

Non-law graduates, especially those wishing to study for a Master's degree in Public Law Law graduates wishing to renew their knowledge and skills in the area of Public Law

Assessment methods Continuous assessment comprises three elements: attendance (20 per cent), participation (10 per cent) and a written test (70 per cent) which must cover the concepts taught in the various sessions throughout the course. Those who obtain at least 10 marks will pass.
