Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)
As part of the Vila Franca de Xira Photography Biennial 2024 (BF24), curated by Ana Rito and under the theme Infinite Serpent, the CICANT researcher and Lusófona University professor Hugo Barata presented the performance "Intuition Into Action".
The performance was part of the Serpent Ritual project and is the result of an extension of the artistic and editorial residency held at Fábrica das Palavras. This edition of the biennial explores the intersections between publishing, design, and the concept of the library as a space in transformation, proposing a reflection on the role of the book not as a static object, but as a starting point for processes of thought and creation.
The performance curated by Hugo Barata invokes the cosmological and unifying power of the book, challenging traditional forms of reading and experiencing the editorial object.
