LusoGlobe at the 4th Maritime Safety Conference

30.07.24 - 09h03The 4th Maritime Security Conference, the diamond event of MARSEC COE - Maritime Security Centre of Excellence, was successfully held on 27 and 28 June 2024, with the participation of 202 participants from 27 countries. The conference brought together, in Istambul, 19 esteemed panelists and 4 moderators from around the world, under the academic advisorship of Professor Dr Christian Bueger, focusing on the theme of ‘Protecting Maritime Critical Infrastructures and the Seabed’.
Sabrina Medeiros, from LusoGlobe - Lusófona Centre on Global Challenges, was one of the speakers who contributed to the valuable content of this event. She presented a paper co-authored with Claudio Correa, William Moreira and Guilherme Cantarino, called ‘Navigating Inter-Agency Collaboration and the Integration of Customs Security: Insights from the Brazilian Case’.
