NAV Portugal presents Mission and Career of Air Traffic Controllers at ULusófona
Carlos Rouco's lecture ‘The Sky's the Limit... and We Control It’ brought together students and teachers for a morning on air traffic control

Lusófona University - Lisbon University Centre hosted this Monday a lecture by Carlos Rouco, representative of NAV Portugal, the company responsible for managing the national airspace.
The event began at 12:00 pm and featured a detailed presentation on NAV’s mission and the fundamental role of air traffic controllers in ensuring the safety, monitoring, and control of Portugal’s airspace.
Throughout the session, students had the opportunity to learn about the challenges and demands of the profession, as well as the technological resources that ensure the efficiency of air navigation. At the end, the audience was able to clarify doubts in a question-and-answer session and learn more about the career opportunities available.
