Play Your Idea 2025 | The Best Entrepreneurial Projects at ULusófona

On 26 June 2025 – PLAY – the Creative and Technological Incubator of Lusófona University, concluded another edition of the PLAY YOUR IDEA 2025 competition, an initiative aimed at fostering entrepreneurship and accelerating innovative ideas from students and alumni of Lusófona University.

The competition was part of the activities of the European projects C-Accelerate and FilmEU, supported by several institutional partners, namely Banco CGD, the technology consultancy CGI, investment consultants Bten, and the association Rede mpresário.

Developed in three phases — idea submission, selection of 30 projects, and presentation of the 12 finalists to a panel of investors and experts — the competition highlighted two main categories: Arts, Communication and Creative Industries and Digital and Technology.

2025 Edition Winners

Category A – Arts, Communication and Creative Industries

• Cash prize of €1,250
• 1 year of incubation at PLAY
• Full scholarship for an LES Postgraduate Programme
• Project development with a partner from the FILMEU consortium

2nd Place: A Week in the Life of...

• Cash prize of €500
• 6 months of incubation at PLAY
• 80% discount on an LES Postgraduate Programme
• Project integration with a FILMEU partner company

3rd Place: GlueBra

• Cash prize of €250
• 3 months of incubation at PLAY
• 40% discount on an LES Postgraduate Programme
• Development within a FILMEU partner company

Category B – Digital and Technology

1st Place: SquadBrain

• Cash prize of €1,250
• 1 year of incubation at PLAY
• Full scholarship for the LES MBA
• 1 year of access to the CGI Unicorn Academy programme

2nd Place: Adventour

• Cash prize of €500
• 6 months of incubation at PLAY
• 80% discount on an LES Postgraduate Programme
• 6 months of access to the CGI Unicorn Academy

3rd Place: Edugram

• Cash prize of €250
• 3 months of incubation at PLAY
• 40% discount on an LES Postgraduate Programme
• 3 months of access to the CGI Unicorn Academy
