Recruitment of Mentors for the CLAIM Intercultural Mentoring Programme

The CLAIM – Local Support Centre for the Integration of Migrants at Lusófona University is recruiting lecturers, professional staff and national students from third countries to join its Intercultural Mentoring Programme, an initiative designed to support the welcoming and integration of migrant students into the academic community.

The programme aims to create a support network for academic, social and cultural integration, built on the sharing of experiences, solidarity and a commitment to making the University an increasingly inclusive and intercultural environment.

Mentors play a key role in supporting students by:

• Welcoming and guiding new students;
• Helping them become familiar with Lusófona University and its services;
• Promoting academic, social and cultural integration;
• Referring them to the appropriate resources and support services whenever needed.

Participants will benefit from:

• Initial training;
• Ongoing guidance and supervision throughout the programme;
• A rewarding experience in intercultural learning and the development of personal and social skills.

Who can apply?

• National students from third countries;
• Lusófona University lecturers;
• Lusófona University professional staff.
