The largest veterinary hospital for farm animals on the Iberian Peninsula is being built in Catapereiro

Scheduled to open in September, the new Veterinary Hospital of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Lusófona University represents a significant investment in animal health and welfare, strengthening the institution's commitment to education, scientific research and the provision of veterinary care.
Primarily dedicated to the care of livestock species, the hospital will strengthen the practical component of students' education and create new opportunities for the development of specialised skills, bringing academic knowledge closer to the challenges of professional practice.
With the aim of becoming a leading reference facility in the sector, it will be the largest Livestock Species Hospital in the Iberian Peninsula, contributing to an integrated approach to animal health and to the enhancement of veterinary intervention in the livestock sector.
