Lusófona University organised, on 14 May, the 3rd International Congress on Healthy Learning and Work Environments, a prominent event that reinforces the institution’s commitment to promoting health and well-being in educational and professional contexts.
The congress was held in collaboration with the Portuguese Laboratory of Healthy Work Environments (LABPATS), the Authority for Working Conditions (ACT), EU-OSHA, and the Relational Lab, bringing together researchers, professionals, and representatives from various national and international institutions.
Under the theme “Health and Well-Being in Learning and Work Environments: Exploring Challenges, Investigating Solutions, and Sharing Best Practices,” the event featured keynote speeches by Marion Devaux (OECD), on productivity and health at work, and Julie Barnett (University of Bath), who addressed loneliness in the workplace.
The opening session included representatives from ULusófona and partner entities, emphasising the importance of institutional cooperation in building healthier and more inclusive environments.
Best practices were also presented from organisations such as AGEAS, PHC, Mercer, University of Huelva, among others, alongside the annual LABPATS report, followed by a broad panel with professional orders and public institutions.
