ULusófona Tourism Department at an International Conference in Macau

The colloquium addressed an analysis of how tourism and hospitality organisations in Portugal can promote healthier work environments

At the invitation of the Escola Superior de Hotelaria e Turismo do Estoril (ESHTE) and the University of Tourism of Macau, the Tourism Department of Lusófona University was represented by Mafalda Patuleia at the colloquium “Macao and Portugal Tourism Offerings and Connections: Memories of the Past, Inspirations for the Future”, which took place on 3 December at the University of Tourism of Macau.

Researchers from the Universidade de Coimbra and the Instituto Politécnico do Porto also took part in this event.

The paper presented, “Healthy Workplaces in Hospitality: Ecosystems for Well-Being”, is part of a national study dedicated to analysing how tourism and hospitality organisations in Portugal can promote healthier and more sustainable working environments, developed in collaboration with the researcher Tânia Gaspar.
