Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)
Lusófona University - Lisbon University Centre is promoting, on 25 November 2025, between 6:00 pm and 7:00 pm, the 11th edition of the Industrial Engineering and Management Conference, with an in-person session whose venue will be announced shortly. This initiative is aimed at MEGI and LEGI students, strengthening the connection between academic training and emerging trends in industrial management.
The talk, entitled “Sustainable Asset Management and Life Cycle Investment: Analysing the Potential of ISO 55001 in the Circular Economy”, proposes an in-depth reflection on the strategic role of asset management in the transition from a linear economy to a truly circular model. As companies face an increasing need to integrate sustainability practices into their processes, it becomes vital to rethink asset life cycles and the associated decision-making methods.
This session of the Conference therefore seeks to empower future engineers and managers to lead change processes.
