The V Lusophone Nutrition Conference took place on 24 March 2026, between 9:00 am and 6:00 pm, at the Auditório Agostinho da Silva, at Lusófona University - Lisbon University Centre. The initiative, promoted by ECTS, established itself as a key platform for reflection, scientific updating and knowledge sharing in the field of Nutritional Sciences.

Throughout the day, the event brought together specialists from various fields, fostering interdisciplinary dialogue on contemporary challenges in nutrition, from clinical practice to public health, as well as the agri-food industry and scientific research. The evolution of nutrition as a multifaceted discipline was highlighted, integrating contributions from areas such as biology, genetics, epidemiology and social sciences.

The programme emphasised the scientific roadmap “From Nutrigenetics to Nutrigenomics”, highlighting the transition towards more personalised, evidence-based approaches grounded in molecular science. The sessions reinforced the role of nutritionists in promoting health, preventing disease and developing sustainable solutions for food systems.
