On the Fridays of February, the month in which we dare even more about the meaning of love, we give you different perspectives on it in different and distinct areas.

In today's episode, we were joined by Professor Daniel Cardoso, a specialist in the intersection between Communication, Technology and Society. In this conversation we talked about the phenomenon of "liquid loves" and the impact that the digital age can have on love relationships, privacy and intimacy.

He tells us that, throughout his professional career, he has made a point of confronting issues relating to relationships, relational diversity, gender and sexuality, in particular, relating them to new media, to the present and future digital age.

There is clearly a sweeping influence of the digital age on human connection, whether through communication, gestures or even the gesticulations that can accompany any communication.

It's almost unthinkable nowadays to relate without any identification of the subject as a persona in society or even on any digital platform. There is due appreciation of the subject, but without the possibility of adapting to it.

Is this the impact of the digital age on love? Is this the impact of the digital age on any psychic issue?

In the end, the future depends on us, on our love and, above all, on the continuity we give to the new media. It's too cliché, but it's factual.

In this season of the podcast, we assumed that we wouldn't be guided by the record achieved underwater, but by the heartbeat instead of counting the seconds underwater, by love.
