The "Fire Behavior" Microcredential provides technical and professional development for agents and technicians involved in the integrated management of rural fires, civil protection, and the prevention and suppression of rural fires. The knowledge acquired can be applied within the operational structures of the Integrated Rural Fire Management System (SGIFR), municipal and regional civil protection services, fire departments, public agencies related to forestry and the environment, entities responsible for land management, and technical teams focused on analysis and operational decision support. The training enables participants to develop skills in interpreting fire behavior, using predictive tools and models, identifying situations of extreme behavior, and defining suppression and protection strategies appropriate to operational conditions.
