2. Structure of the European Union and Portuguese financial Public Administration. Sectors, subsectors and financial institutions.
3. State Budgets. The budget rules.

Objectives
Objectives
To frame the Administration and public policies in their financial and budgetary dimension and in a global and integrated way, covering the European Union, the State, the Autonomous Regions and local authorities. Ability to carry out in-depth studies of cutting-edge scientific topics in the field of Public Finance, based on research, analysis, criticism and debate on these topics, with a view to enabling participants to become protagonists of theoretical progress in their areas of specialization. introductory concepts in the field of public finance and budget law; knowledge of the main European and national legal regimes that condition Portuguese public finances, including the Stability and Growth Pact, the 'Budget Treaty', the Constitution of the Portuguese Republic and the Budgetary Framework Law.
