This option is available for master’s and doctoral programmes worth 90 ECTS credits or more.
Tuition fees are calculated according to the number of ECTS credits in which you enrol.

Master's Degree in Accounting, Taxation and Finance Qualification upon completion of 90 ECTS towards a Master's degree The process of accounting harmonization, in line with the increasing globalization of markets, along with the growing importance of tax planning, requires qualified and skilled professionals to meet the constant demands in these areas of business life. This course aims to provide integrated theoretical and technical training in the areas of accounting, finance, and taxation. It is relevant for those seeking access to the Certified Accountant profession, as well as for those interested in becoming a Certified Public Auditor. Taxation and finance are important components of the course, which enhance skills that meet current market needs and provide numerous opportunities to address research questions. The course is completed in 4 semesters, with 2 semesters dedicated to the curricular phase and 2 semesters dedicated to the dissertation/project work phase. There is continuous interaction between the two phases.

You can apply for the cycle of studies leading to a master's degree: a) holders of a bachelor's degree or legal equivalent; b) holders of a foreign academic degree awarded following a 1st cycle of studies organised in accordance with the principles of the Bologna process by a State adhering to that process; c) holders of a foreign higher academic degree that is recognised as satisfying the objectives of a bachelor's degree by the statutorily competent body; d) holders of an academic, scientific or professional curriculum that is recognised by the competent statutory body of Centro Universitário Lusófona - Lisboa as attesting to their ability to complete this cycle of studies.

The Master's Degree in Accounting, Taxation, and Finance is particularly aimed at: Holders of a bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Taxation, and Auditing, as well as Administration, Management, Finance, Economics, or related fields. Current or potential professionals in the financial field of companies, including: Accounting Managers, Controllers, Chief Financial Officers, Financial Analysts, Tax Consultants, Financial and Management Consultants, Banking Professionals, Tax Administration Professionals, Auditors, Certified Accountants (CC), and candidates for CC and Registered Auditors. Candidates from other scientific and professional domains who wish to acquire or deepen their knowledge in these areas may also apply.
