Objectives
Objectives
The main objective of this curricular unit is to provide students the history of moving images and the technologies that have been key to the development of television throughout the world and in particular in Portugal, which has followed the European EBU/UER standard.
Students will learn the terminology, skills and concepts necessary to acquire the crucial skills to recognize the different cinematographic formats, genres of archival television content, which are transversal from the birth of cinema and TV to the present day.
