Lusófona University's Department of Cinema and Media Arts announces Over & Out 2025
Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)
From 7 to 10 July 2025, Universidade Lusófona will host another edition of Over & Out, the annual event organised by the Department of Cinema and Media Arts (DCAM). This year, the initiative is themed “navigation”, inviting reflections on how we explore, map, and reinvent the creative and intellectual territory of contemporary arts, cinema, and media.
Over & Out 2025 celebrates the academic and artistic journey of students from undergraduate to doctoral levels, presenting a diverse programme that showcases the projects developed throughout the academic year. Featuring screenings, installations, talks, performances, and research presentations, the event stands as a privileged showcase of the creative and critical vitality of DCAM.
This annual gathering aims not only to provide a space for sharing and celebration, but also to foster dialogue with the academic community and the wider public, encouraging intersections between artistic practices, applied research, and contemporary thought.
