Open Courses Integrated Water Resources Management and Sustainability

Sustainable management of water resources and good water governance are essential for meeting the environmental, social and economic challenges of the 21st century. The course covers topics such as public policies, management instruments, ecosystem conservation and basin management, with an integrated and sustainable approach. The teaching staff is made up of leading specialists and academics at national level.

The selection process is based on analysing candidates' academic and professional backgrounds.

It is aimed at professionals from public and private institutions, NGOs, academics and consultants in the fields of environment, engineering, planning and management, with an interest in developing skills in integrated and sustainable water management.

Graduates will be able to work in water resources agencies, municipal councils, management entities, consultancy firms, NGOs or research centres, developing integrated and sustainable water management strategies.
